Data Storage

Mobile Phone Data Storage

Tips on storing your data on your phone:

Your Storage is almost full 85%
  • Expand your memory – by simply adding a MicroSD card to your Android phone
  • Delete unused Apps’ – if you need them in the future you can simply download it again!
  • Back up camera pictures – back up to your pc, to the cloud or consider some third party options like Dropbox or Google Drive
  • Delete your old messages – generally text messages don’t take up loads of space.  But when lumped together all your conversations from the likes of SMS, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp it can add up

WiFi Calling

WiFi Calling

If you get patchy signal at home or work, or even no signal at all, you’re now able to use your home/work WiFi to make and receive calls and text as normal.

This is currently only available to the EE network and is not available on all handsets as yet. Currently the iPhone 5c, 5s, SE, 6 and 6s offer this along with the Samsung S5, S6, S7, Nokia Lumia 640 along with the Harrier mini. It is hoped that other handsets are going to be able to access this service over the next few months.

Pocket Landline

Pocket Landline

This is a service that offers all of the benefits of a landline, without the landline. It allows you to get a local landline number that rings straight to a mobile so important calls aren’t missed.

You will be able to request a number that is prefixed by ‘01432’, however, the numbers are system generated and therefore you cannot be more area specific. The terms of contract is 12 months. To have one landline number that can be transferred to up to 5 mobile numbers for a monthly charge of £15 + VAT. If you only required one landline number to go to one mobile number then it would cost £10 + VAT.

We can confirm that the customers are charged at a normal local charge rate and there are 1000 minutes included in the monthly charge rate to the business.

A portal is set up online and the pocket landline is managed by you, the customer. The portal gives you the opportunity to set up your preferences who the calls go to. Please note that all mobiles must be on a EE small business plan.
